It was after dark. I was taking a short cut to the convenience store through an alley. Ahead of me, a middle-aged white woman was walking down a side street and started to enter the alley. Upon realizing that I would be walking behind her, she made a quick turn out of the alley. Once inside the convenience store, I saw the woman come in. We were headed to the same destination, but she chose to take a different route.
As a black man, should I be offended for being racially profiled? Well guess what? The night before, a late night craving sent me headed to the convenience store down that same alley. A block away, I saw a white guy as he began to enter the alley. He and I would eventually cross paths. I immediately did a quick turn out of the alley. It was late and dark, without another single soul in sight.

Part of protecting yourself is negative profiling -
the silver haired woman with the walker would be excluded from the threat matrix,
while the group of “teens” that just crossed the street a half block ahead of me - Condition Red.
If you are walking down a dark alley and come across a group of young black males in your path you are AN IDIOT if you are not cautious.
93% of all black murders are by young black males- and 80% of ALL murders overall. This is a shocking statistic
what percent of the “knock out game” is done by young blacks?
Profiling is NOT a black vs. white issue.
We profile people every day. Its called using good judgment and common sense. Its a survival tactic.

I knew a guy(black)in Lauderdale that told me as kids(70”s) they would go to Burdines in downtown laud and ride the elevator just to freak out whites.

Like the lady who went to the mall in Saudia Arabia doing her desire to see what their customs and life is like so she can be a better teacher. Now she has twins with no mom. I wonder about her husband who let her take them with her anyway....a liberal??

DOJ issued a directive against racial profiling which stated that enforcement decisions could not be based on someones national origin.
I thought, "what the hell are they talking about"? Every enforcement decision I make is based on someone's national origin. Its the only fundamental issue at hand.
Such is the level of stupidity in the US government.
The USA is a country with a complete lack of mutual trust. It’s not just Black/White. It’s all over and everybody.
I doubt this trust will ever come back.

I recall a story (sorry, I don’t recall the source), where, as a school study, young, black men went into stores, attired in ‘urban gear’. They were treated with suspicion. The following week, they returned to the same stores, but dressed in business attire. For some ‘strange’ reason, they were treated respectfully.
I can’t imagine why.

Brains operate by pattern recognition. All animals that hunt must be extremely good at it. Only Democrat brains are unable to detect patterns, hence the need for food stamps.
Black people profile just as much as white people do. When I used to ride on public transportation a lot, there were plenty of times that black women, alone, would choose to sit next to me, a young white guy, rather than next to young black men on the train. Everyone knows who the troublemakers are, even if they don’t want to admit it.
