A set of rules for white people at a vigil for Michael Brown in Canada has sparked controversy with critics accusing organizers of promoting segregation.
'Non black allies' were told to 'refrain from taking up space in all ways possible' and 'never be at the centre of anything' at the event in Toronto on November 25.
The Facebook page also advised white demonstrators to 'refrain from speaking to the media' and 'stand behind black folks or between us and the police'.

This is complete and utter BS. If you interfere while a police officer is making a stop, you will be arrested for interfering with a police officer.
First and foremost, police officers have to have control of a situation and anyone not part of the stop sticking their nose in will be ordered to get back. If you do not obey, you will be arrested.
Oh, I'm sure they like it just fine. There's a species of self-hating whites that finds eager pleasure in prostrating itself before blacks. They'll lap it up and beg for more.
Canada did not have slaves. In fact, Canada was at the end of the underground railway taken by escaped slaves. We have the descendants of those slaves as full citizens today.
And blacks are an expert on taking up space....
I’ve always tended to think that libs and the Black thug class were more naturally gifted at takin’ up space and talkin’ than other, more inherently productive, groups.
