That edited video doesn't really show what was going on.
Two separate videos of the incident shown in that video. You can see people mobbing the car and jumping on it before he makes any attempt to escape. Completely justified in fearing for his life.

I watched the video, and the protester was NOT dragged 20 feet. After she went down, the most was maybe 5-10 feet, if that.
Concern “Security Experts” [Read government trolls] would have had the driver stay immobile and cringe in the front seat as he was pulled from the car and beaten to death.
IMO, he felt for his safety and tried to leave the danger area. I would not charge him.

It appears some other protestor/broad was on the hood of the car, blocking his view with her @ss and some sign.
That person should be charged.
