To reduce the risk of contracting enterovirus D68 – as well as the flu or other infectious diseases – the CDC recommends that people wash their hands frequently.

We have in this country diseases that were being stamped out in my childhood years of the 50s. Largely, after I grew older, these diseases were considered effectively extinct.
