It's the middle of the night! (Or VERY early morning). Who's up at this time, and why?
I used to do 40 hour weeks in four days and five shifts. Two nights, two evenings, and a day shift 8 hours after the last evening shift. The good part was I got three days off. The bad part was my body was so screwed up I didn’t care.
Bloody Mary at concourse E Delta Sky club Tampa international. I know its early...so what...
My parents had a cat that would do that. Little Shadow was a very, very smart little brown tabby. My mom would say, “Go get your father up,” and she would run to their room, and jump across the bed, back and forth, until he was on his feet.
I work the weekend graveyard shift. I’m a night owl.
6 AM.
The dog wanted to go out but its better than the occasional 3 or 4 am.
My husband and I are both pilots. We pretty much have to be carried onto a commercial airliner as pax. His F.O. said one day, “wow, you really throw them back before you fly” (as a pax.) Hubby said, “that’s because I know what Air XXXX’s maintenance is like.”
Been up for a while.
Good morning!!!!
5:06 in TX .bones are barking for some Aleve this morning because we moved heavy patio plants inside ahead of the predicted freeze, but they are worth the work. Coffee is God’s gift to early risers.
Fell asleep early because I got almost no sleep the night before.
LOL. I knew several mechanics myself, hence the reason I’m like Norm at the skyclub.
I woke up early for so many years to work I can’t sleep in now.
Besides, at 4:30 the house was cold so I got up to stoke up the wood stove and let the old man sleep. He’s not retired yet, so he needs sleep more than I.
I’ll be honest. I’m manic right now. Have been for three days and haven’t slept a wink in that time. I just write and blog. I’m an author so it works out kind of good. I get a lot of writing done until I crash.
Hey man, haven’t seen you in a while.
The dog would get the command right even when only one of my brothers had to be roused. The dog would leap up on the bed, pull the covers back, lick the face of the sleeper, and if necessary, growl and bark until he was roused to the kitchen for breakfast. When that was accomplished, the dog got a treat from my mother.
LOL. And that’s why the F.O. is still an F.O. and would ask. Not enough time in the business. He’s probably never been in a wing seat on a 747 when it lost an engine on take off. The panic sex later was great though, and we were in Hawaii :)
Does anybody really know what time it is?
Does anybody really care?
Thanks. It is slowly healing and getting better, but there is not much to be done for the pain other than aspirin and Benadryl.
That is quite an accomplishment for a cat — a species that has little tendency toward obedience to humans.
Freeze? I am in Texas. Not cold here.
about time....
