This new Congress MUST represent the people of the country now. With Common Core, our grade school students are being asked to repeat the tenets of Islam. I thought religion wasn't allowed in the schools? Common Core Head, Arne Duncan, withholds education monies, required to be sent to the Federal Gov't from ALL states, from states that don't go with Common Core. With Obamacare, the Fed Gov't is already sucking up Health dollars for other purposes, not having anything to do with Healthcare. We want our freedom to choose our Doctors again! Make Health Insurance competitive, allow Health Insurance to be available across State lines and give it portability. C'mon you can do it!
The Republican wing of The Party of Government will do few — if any — of those things.
Maybe you missed it but Mitch McConnell has already said he will do NONE OF THOSE THINGS, his goal is to keep the Demonrats happy and keep collecting bribe money.
see Time magazine online, a little further down
RINO McConnell and RINO Boehner support ObamaCARE/ROmneyCARE.
RINO McCain supports Benghazi weapons transfer and
arming al Qaeda.
DO NOT DEPEND UPON THE GOP as it stands now.
That's reality.

There are only liberal Republicans. Call them what they are.

You are dreaming if you think that is going to happen if Boner and McConnell are the LEADERS. Number one priority for the GOP will be to reach agreement with the first black President. Sorry, but that is what this election is going to show us all.
but, but...the RINO fanboys here at FR told us that RINOs were worthy of our votes b/c they were ‘better’ than a dem. This is why voting RINO never ever works well. Why vote for a RINO when a dem is the real deal?
While we’re at it let’s repeal Obama too!
Please drop the nonsense of “Replacing” Obamacare.
The message to Congress should be one of return to free-market principles.
From the article:
Back in 2002 the US Department of Education, with help from Bill Gates (Microsoft Corp), Steve Jobs (Apple), AOL Time Warner, Dell Computer, Cable in the Classrooms, Cisco Systems and the National Education set up an organization called: Partnership for 21st Century Skills or P21.org for short. I originally found p21.org from a link on the TeachUNICEF website Yep, UNICEF is still part of the United Nations. The link was titled: Have you seen the Partnership for 21st Century Skills new report on Global Education? Among other things I found on the site were articles titled A Framework For State Action on Global Education and P21 has embarked on a year long project to redefine and reimagine 21st century citizenship.
21 interesting number... As in Agenda 21
” Please drop the nonsense of Replacing Obamacare. The message to Congress should be one of return to free-market principles.”
AMEN!
DON’T REPLACE OBAMACARE!!!! Just repeal it. Then start removing the government from medicine. This call for Obamacare’s replacement is a Statist attempt to keep government control in place, just cloak the more irritating facets of it, but strengthening it in the process. I would not be even a little surprised if McConnell comes up with a Republican version of single-payer because the private insurance “system” is hopelessly degraded and Republicans have accepted that “everyone” has a right to insurance and must have it. The argument now will be what is the best way to force universal insurance on the population. The Republican scheme will be labeled the free market approach but the free market will not even be plausible illusion.
There is political and populace will to tweak obamacare, but not for a full repeal. In some form, this thing is here to stay.
Simple plan:
Interstate policies
Tort reform
Inheritable FSAs
Tax deductible premiums for all
21...
That has UN buzzwords throughout.
Maybe you missed it but Mitch McConnell has already said he will do NONE OF THOSE THINGS, his goal is to keep the Demonrats happy and keep collecting bribe money.”
McConnell said none of those things. His responses were a rational explanation of what needs to be done.
BTW, shutting down the government would be the stupidest thing the GOP could do.
