Yesterday, reservist Nathan Cirillo was murdered while guarding Canada’s National War Memorial. Today, Halifax Chronicle-Herald cartoonist Bruce MacKinnon paid tribute to Cirillo — in an absolutely gorgeous way:

The concept is tear-jerking, the the style of cartoon it was done in is lacking. I hope somebody redoes it in a more realistic style.

I am impressed by the reaction of the people of the US and the media to recent events in Canada. It's almost as if these things took place in the US itself.
President Obola's reaction is not so impressive, not that I care or was expecting much.
