According to Lena Dunham's memoir "Not That Kind of Girl," the same man who allegedly raped her and hurt two other women is still on the loose. According to our own reporting, Dunham has not volunteered to cooperate with authorities in order to get her rapist off the street. Early Saturday morning, Dunham appeared to tweet excuses for the man she claims raped her. During a book tour appearance earlier this month, Dunham told Howard Stern that not all rapists are "straight-forward villains." Dunham's tweets, though, represent the first time she appears to have made excuses for the man she claims sexually assaulted her as 19 year-old Oberlin College student.

I think she’s trying to make up for ugliness by doubling-down on stupidity.
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
This story is perfect for the feminist narrative.
Ha! Good memory!!!

My first thought was that he must be an undocumented immigrant, because it is a job no American would be willing to do! ;-)
It reminds me of way back when Bill Clinton was hitting the national scene. Liberal law professor Susan Estrich was trying to make a name for herself claiming she was date raped.
She wrote a book, wanted laws passed and was making the talk show circuits. Then Hillary had a talk with her and she chilled in a hurry. Her publicity stopped, she shut up and then got some high paying jobs with democrat campaigns.
Either she lied all along, or rape really isn't that big a deal to her when better opportunities present themselves.
Oh God!!! I think I’m going blind!!!
Laz...are you out there!!!

None exist at Oberlin.
Circumstances suggest that alcohol may have played a factor.
Dunham is a clear cut filthy liar
Good for the jury.
In most, though not perhaps all, "date rape" cases there is agreement that intercourse took place, so the only question at issue as to whether a crime occurred or not is the consent or not of the female.
What I've never had answered to my satisfaction is how it is possible even in theory to determine beyond a reasonable doubt which of two people is lying, when there is zero evidence other than their testimony.
AFAIK, we just do not convict people on such flimsy evidence for any other crime.
