Of the 691 cases of EV-D68 confirmed from by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now in 46 states and the District of Columbia, 14 of these cases are in Texas.
On October 9, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) confirmed that the children with EV-D68 were residents of Anderson, Bexar, Dallas (7), Denton, and Lubbock (4) Counties. One additional confirmed case was in a resident of another state.
In Lubbock, the Avalanche-Journal reported an additional case on October 10, although it was not recorded with the DSHS. If confirmed, this would bring the Texas EV-D68 tally up to 15.
Still, medical professionals caution against panic over EV-D68. Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) Medical Director/Health Authority Dr. Christopher Perkins said on September 26 that not all respiratory illnesses occurring are EV-D68. This also is cold and flu season.
The enterovirus season runs from July through October. Almost all of the confirmed cases of the virus this year have been among children the CDC reported. Infants, children, and teenagers are at higher risk than adults for getting infected and sick with enteroviruses like EV-D68. The CDC stated that is "because they have not been exposed to these types of viruses before, and they do not yet have immunity (protection) built up to fight the disease."

It was always going to be in the schools, because it was brought in by the "unaccompanied children" from Central America, which is where you find this strain usually. Those kids were to be put into the schools, and our doofus President told the schools that they had to take in these children without a medical okay from a doctor. So, our kids got infected from these illegal border crossers.
Are illegal children in school right now? Of course they are without proper doctor screening or medical screening they were permitted to enter the school system. I live in a border town and they are building schools left and right and erecting Low income housing for the thousands of illegals who have entered our state illegally. By law because of the dirty rats we have to admit or squeeze illegal children without the proper medical screening into our Schools! Where is the American people standing against this atrocity against our children! I am so sick of bending over and getting screwed by the laws enforced by the Democrats!!

They can genetically trace the origins of the virus back to its point of origin. The political dirtbags are allowing kids to die because they already know the origins: the droves of dirtbag illegals they let pour across the border and then whisked off to various places across the nation. It doesn’t take an epidemiologist to see the patterns here.
The kenyan, his CDC chief, holder and homeland security chief need to all be prosecuted for negligent homicide for not enforcing the immigration laws and securing the borders.
The democrat party needs to be outlawed and sued out of existence for complicity.
