With Bridesmaids and The Heat, Paul Feig has carved a very lucrative niche for himself as Hollywoods go-to director for female-focused comedies. Now, he may be bringing his roster of funny ladies to one of the most iconic franchises of the last 30 years.

Marketing mistake to drag the movie into a Hollywierd sex war. Ghostbusters has nothing to do with a sex war.
They need to throw in Hillary’s “Testicle Lock Box” as one of their weapons. It won’t be funny if they don’t.
What might be funny to this plagiarist, might not be funny when compared to the original.
The guys were supposed to be smart. You cannot convince that this gaggle of eeky-squeaky-ohmigod-skirts can pull it off.
One of the Ramus’s was not only a writer for the script, but played a part in the movie. If this ‘guy’ is doing the writing, how can that be equalled?
Rick Moranis was one of the two ‘guardians’. ‘Nuff said.
I don’t buy it. I’m not wasting my dollars at the overexpensive-for-the-nachos cinema, NOR when it comes out on DVD 3 months after theater release.
Awesome! I can’t wait to miss it!!
I don’t mind new Ghostbusters, but they HAD to be ALL women? I mean, really?
Anyhoo, if they do, please not McCarthy, she’s one-note. Personally, I’d like to see Ana Farris fill a spot. I wouldn’t mind Kristen Wiig, but.... it’s just so some dumb-ass producer brainless thing... “How about this time... they’re... (wait for it)... WOMEN!”
I haven’t seen any comedy actresses worth watching. I think I’ll be missing this reboot. Sounds like total trash.
I was 8 when this movie came out and I actually remember flipping out in the movie theater because it scared the crap out of me. I went with my mother and her then-husband and we wound up leaving because I was terrified.
“”What has that got to do with anything?”
“Back-off man I am a scientist!”
Hawaii 5O Classic disappeared after doing this in the final season.
I’ll stick with the original version, thanks.
They missed their chance to *have* a franchise when that abortion, GBII, came out.
