Not much red to it, just a dull brownish orange.

Montreal usually gets first snow about a month before we do, and they get a lot more.
Small world- I rode from Toronto to Plattsburgh on a 125cc scooter back in 2009. NY State Highway 3 is an amazing run.

I use to tour the Adirondack Mountains on a Suzuki GS 850G between 86 thru 88 and I got caught in one hell of a snow storm coming out of Albany back to Plattsburgh.
I drug my combat boots in the snow for almost 200 miles before I got back home safely.
Even with a Vetter windshield and lowers, that was one nerve racking ride.

I used to ride year-round but for that trip I had the sense to do it in July :)

Had a clear view here in the Houston area. I kept going out and checking on it from about 5:50 A.M. until it was no longer visible. Pretty cool. Primitive peoples probably freak out when they see stuff like that.

I would imagine a long trip on a small 125CC would beat you to fatigued entirely out, pretty fast, especially without a wind screen.

I had a windscreen but yes it was rather fatiguing. Left Toronto at 6am arrived at campsite 6:30pm. But I did have a reputation for making crazy/stupid road trips on that beast- 40,000km per year until it died.
