Rock lobsters have no claws and are darker and bumpier in appearance than the Maine lobster.

That said, spiny lobsters taste much better to me than their northern cousins.
Just butter.
Garlic drowns out the lobster flavor. IMHO.
Just melt that butter and toss either one of them on the plate. I'll take it from there ..

Lobster tails are extremely easy to cook.
Slice through the shell and about half way through the meat. Spread it apart and place a fair amount of butter in the crevice. Stick it in a microwave and cook it until the translucent color turns to white.
That is it.
had a friend dive just as the sun was goin down...we hollered NOOOOOOOOOOo but he did on the front of Anacapa and sure nuff...he saw a great white.....he made it back but he was white as school paper

Yep, the lobster in the Caribbean also do not have claws. We caught them that looked just like that in Belize. Yuuuummmmmyyyyyy!
