A 19-year-old Illinois man was charged Monday with a terrorism-related offense for allegedly trying to join ISIS in its battle to carve out an Islamic caliphate in Iraq and Syria.
Authorities said Mohammed Hamzah Khan of the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook was arrested Saturday at O'Hare International Airport as he waited to board a flight to Vienna. From there, he intended to fly to Istanbul, Turkey, and then make his way into Syria or Iraq to fight for ISIS, they said.
Khan was charged Monday in a federal criminal complaint with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. He appeared briefly in court and was ordered to remain in custody pending a detention hearing on Thursday.

I'm of the firm belief that ISIS and the rest of those stink monkeys aren't about religion anymore but rather a cult of rape, murder, torture and just plain nasty stuff reminiscent of anarchy but with a leader.......
And growing up in Chicago in a culture of black violence, I can understand the allure of joining a group of murderers who will only face justice by being killed.........

There were similar stories in the Japanese papers today of police searching houses of university students just because they responded to a poster at a used-book store in downtown Tokyo offering positions for “work in Syria.” Material in the bookstore was also seized although no one has been arrested, yet.

My guess is that with a name like that he is of Middle Eastern descent, not an American convert who was originally named something like LaTravius Antwan Jackson.
Ain’t quite figured out that verbiage. When I was nineteen, I was a Marine L/Cpl and married to my high school Sweetie....and still am. I damned sure was a teenager, as was my Bride, but we weren’t kids; we were responsible adults....who had, and still have a lot of fun.
