When Notre Dame plays FSU, it will be the first time I will root for FSU to win a game.
All I know is that the Florida-LSU game is going to be an ugly ugly game to watch.

Two big Notre game losses I had privilege to witness
Against Ole Miss in 77 or 78 when charlie cage and fast Freddie and lqc Lamar and les Kimbrough ruled day...I knew all those guys
And 88 at orange bowl when hurricanes creamed em 34-3

Yee Haw!~ Road trip to Mississippi State this week . . . well not me but daughter . . . AU Marching Band . . . one of her good friends from high school is in the Big Maroon Band but I sure do hope Auburn comes home with a big WIN. Her boyfriend is in the Million Dollar Band so he had the weekend off and of course went to Auburn. Love all the band kids! And the football players too . . . they seems so much more in sync last night and firing on all cylinders!
If both Ole Miss and State go 6-0 next week it’s going to be one hell of an Egg Bowl.

Notre Dame is SOOO overrated....weak schedule..and they should have lost the Stanford game..

TCU jumped ridiculously up the ranks because it makes for a good tv ratings game this coming weekend.

You're right of course and I regret the mistake, especially considering how closely I follow college football. I had conflated the LA-area teams since both suffered losses as the seconds drained away. In the late game with UCLA, although it made no difference, I dispute the running into the kicker penalty. A good acting job for sure but a doubtful call to be sure that was tilted in favor of the Bruins.

Fla State should not be No. 1 with its weak schedule. Auburn — and I really don’t like Auburn — shoudl be No. 1.
