Algae has been forming in rivers, and streams around the World from the beginning of time. Read sometime ago about some scientist, or alleged scientist put forth a theory about the evolution of mankind from that algae. Probably a satire, but that was around the 1960’s when I read that, and that was about the time the radicals started saying anything that rattled around in their cages, and still are.

Never heard it called “green snot” before.
