Whenever the laws of any state are broken, a duly authorized organization swings into action. It may be called the State Police, State Troopers, Militia, the Rangers... or the Highway Patrol. These are the stories of the men whose training, skill and courage have enforced and preserved our state laws.
Remember watching Highway Patrol as a young ‘un. Those big Buicks could really move down the highway.
10-4
ping
Hmmm, I wonder if there is a nostalgia ping list.
Those Buick Century two door sedans were borrowed from the California Highway Patrol, but they had a falling out with the series in 1956, so they got a Buick Super four-door hardtop, with a trailer hitch to haul their equipment to the shooting location. After the series was over, I bet they wished they could have had big block Ford Fairlanes, which came out in 1961.
“Leave your blood at the Red Cross, not on the highway.”. This is Broderick Crawford saying see you next week”.
...and 10-4 is my wedding anniversary. #34 today.
Congratulations to you and your spouse for 34 years. Happy anniversary AND Broderick Crawford Day!
