A New Orleans man has pleaded not guilty to carjacking a 68-year-old Chalmette woman who was attacked last year in a busy Metairie parking lot. Daryle Guillot, 37, who entered the plea Tuesday during his arraignment, was back in a 24th Judicial District courtroom on Thursday, when attorneys and a judge discussed the case privately.
Guillot, whose last address was 516 Marigny St., in the Faubourg Marigny, is accused of assaulting the woman on Nov. 12. She just had her hair cut at a business in the 200 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard, near the 17th Street Canal, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office incident report.
She was sitting in her 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier about 11:20 a.m., trying to call her son on her cellular phone when a man holding a beer bottled approached and demanded a ride, according to the report.
When she refused to give him a ride, he snatched her keys from her hand and pulled her out. Several witnesses told deputies they saw the man yelling, "Give me your f-----g keys," and striking the woman on the ground.

He will probably sue the state to get the tattoo removed by laser because he would claim he couldn’t get a fair trial.
Daryle is looking forward to a career in the corrections system.

At the very least, maybe someday Daryle will look in the mirror and think “My God, I really DO look THAT stupid”.
