Haven’t flown in years and never gave it much thought ... amazing
Recently flew Southwest. While waiting for the plane to arrive I asked a pilot that was waiting also what the hump on the fuselage was.
I suspected it was WiFi and he confirmed it.
Must be really involved, aside from the electronics there’s pressurization problems to contend with also.
IIRC there was a charge to connect. $10 ?
A lot of that is already done during the letter checks, all the seats floors etc have to come out...
ping
SHHHHHH..quiet!!.Actually, given the terrorist threats against planes (all those missing “man pads” SAMs...it’s actually a turret for a laser guided anti-missile weapon..
Bet you never used the AIRFONE either!!
I hope. :)
Haven't flown lately so I've missed some of the "new" color schemes.
I just plug my router with wifi in and it broadcasts.
I wonder what will happen when someone starts watching xxx movies or does the airline filter this out?
