The Ebola outbreak in West Africa continues to rage out of control. The deadly hemorrhagic fever has infected over 5,700 in the region and has killed nearly 2,800. With thousands of American defense officials poised to head to the hot zone in the coming days, the American Center for Disease Control is set to warn that disease is spreading exponentially and may infect up to 500,000 by the end of January.
A report due to be released this week projects that a half a million could be infected by mid-winter, but the model presumes no additional assistance from the international community to curtail the epidemics rapid expansion.
CDC is working on a dynamic modeling tool that allows for recalculations of projected Ebola cases over time, a CDC spokeswoman told reporters with The Washington Post. CDC expects to release this interactive tool and a description of its use soon.

How is the general media handling this, do they have the public panicked yet, or are they downplaying it, not covering it much, or what?

Well they did focus on millionaires who regularly ride around in private jets and yachts protesting about the environment yesterday.

Gawd. I see two morons from the Indian community in support. Useful idiots. And, yes, I have Cherokee lineage. SMH.

At half a million, that cup is gonna overflow.
I hope someone brought napkins.

Yea, who cares about a few hundred thousand poor black Africans when you can ignore the 500 foot yacht that Leonardo DiCaprio went to after the climate change march.

Hopefully the Mann, Jones and Hansen trio are helping them with the “dynamic modeling tool” so they can produce the soon to be mocked “Ebola Hockey Stick Graph”. From their cushy offices, the CDC geniuses will be able to model the infections, the active disease and the resultant deaths without providing any useful assistance or risking getting the disease themselves.
If the modeling tool doesn’t work as advertised they can shout louder, denounce the skeptics as Ebola deniers, and claim the science is settled and skeptics are haters and criminals.

Assuming that the reported number of cases represents 100% of the epidemic, my model projects 405,814 cases by January 31 in Liberia alone.

What get's me is what logic are they working from? There is zero evidence man is causing any notable global warming, NONE, where is it? It's all based on assumption, just like the Ferguson shooting. Cop shoots black guy right away they assume racism even though there is not one single solitary shred of evidence of that. Where is it? I'm still waiting. This is like protesting the sky is too blue because people wear blue shirts. The logic is absolutely insane. And just using basic common sense, do these idiots REALLY believe that man can affect 5,000 trillion tons of atmosphere? Can overtake plants which outnumber humans trillions to one? When they look at earth from outer space and see all that green in South America or the US, do they think that green is from people wearing green shirts driving green cars? It's absolute lunacy. Man is a microbe on planet earth, a barely traceable microbe where if you took every person on earth and put them all in one town standing side to side they would barely fit into a town the size of New Haven which if you looked at on a map of the USA from 80 miles up is barely a pinpoint. And out of that pinpoint every 1.3 people have a car which runs barely a few hours a day. This is like putting a drop of ink into the Atlantic ocean then claiming every ocean on earth is now irreversibly polluted.
