The modern European gene pool was formed when three ancient populations mixed with one another within the last 7,000 years, Nature journal reports. Blue-eyed, swarthy hunters mingled with brown-eyed, pale skinned farmers as the latter swept into Europe from the Near East. But another, mysterious population with Siberian affinities also contributed to the genetic landscape of the continent. The findings are based analysis of the genomes of nine ancient Europeans.

Not surprising that I didn’t get the TV series guy, since the only TV I watch is Perry Mason re=runs and the Svengoolie show on Saturday night.

White Collar is a fun show on USA which will be starting its last season in November. You can catch reruns of some of its previous episodes on various other networks.
It is a story line modeled on “Catch Me if You Can” about a con artist who winds up working for the FBI using his criminal skills to catch other criminals. It’s gotten really complicated recently, however, and I’m not as enthralled with it as I used to be.
Neither am I since I learned that Bomer is one of the most flagrantly gay males in Hollywood. Sometimes I try to suspend disbelief but not in this case.
Agreed! Disappointed, to say the least.
That combination exists among the Dravidian population of India among people who are quite black with blue eyes that look very like headlights.
