Sustainability is evidently unsustainable.

Wood burns easier than stone. - Captain Obvious.

But Wood is a sustainable resource. And Stone is not.
Cause we just wouldn't want to run out of stone.

I suspect the university was stoned.

Can’t help LMAO. Am I evil?

Or did they simply prove that oxidation is sustainable?

Let’s see...wood (as in firewood) is combustible! Jeez, when did I learn that? Oh yes when I was 6 camping with my family and I had to get sticks...

FWIW, a great many American buildings indeed are built using wood frame construction, and they aren’t all that flammable if done right.

The irony is off the scale...

The carbon neutral building probably put out more carbon than 10 regular buildings in a lifetime...when it burned....

Unjust read this to my firefighter husband. His reaction: “I’ve got some sustainable wood baby.” Lol!

It looks like the fire sustained itself nicely.

"The £15 million building had been erected according to the most rigorous environmental principles, made with a wooden frame and other "sustainable" materials, and powered with "renewable" energy, so that the structure could remain "carbon neutral" throughout its lifetime. "

Looks like it did.

"eco-unfriendly ones made of stone, concrete, steel or glass. "

That's kinda retarded, isn't it, Delingpole? Who said those materials were eco-unfriendly? Did some big corporate lobby already have those outlawed to kill the competition and do-it-yourself-ers?
