Very nice. The FED-212 is a thumb-break, unlined, used by some fed agencies. It’s so slick that I can break the snap-tab, draw and fire in under 1.5 secs. Both 212 and mag holsters are pressure-adjustable on 1911 and mags. I also have a 212 for my 2001 Gen 1 Glock 357 SIG. That model’s been replaced by the PLE, and I called all over the country to their large dealers to buy up 3 extras before they sold out stock on the FED-212.

I’ve still got to work with my Wife on drawing and firing from her holster. She limp-wrists (Causing a failure to eject), and uses the 2nd joint of her trigger finger instead of her fingertip. We bought a Ruger 22/45 Lite for her to practice with.
I’m also having her learn to feel for the trigger reset so she’ll be more conscious of what’s happening with the weapons she fires. It’s helping a lot.
After she’s mastered it, THEN I’ll work with her on proper shot placement.

That’s a real nice starter for a youngster. I still have Grandpa’s (Dad’s Pop) 10ga break-action, which I shot at 8-9, and it knocked me on my ass. Shoulder was sore for a week. Blew the poor pigeon to smithereens, but Grandpa hunted daily with it during the Depression to put food on the family’s table.
No one can figure out what mfgr it is. There’s a logo emblem on the buttplate, but their and my research turns-up zilch.

And speed will come with good technique and practice, in due time.

Is there a way you could post a photo of it -along with the butt plate? Perhaps some of us could help research it, too.
I love gun researching. A buddy of mine from work showed me an old pistol that his Dad gave him. I took a bunch of pictures and looked it up. Turns out he has about $2000 dollars worth of classic on his hands:
It's a Colt DA .38

Old guns like that, there were lots of mfgrs out of business now.
If you get a chance take a pic of the emblem and post it but there should be some kind of mark on the barrel too.

That Marlboro looks damn good too.
It’s been 8 months now since I quit smoking but the compulsion is still very strong at times.

Here's a beauty: 1975 Colt Trooper MK III 6" .357 Magnum, bought new $275, pristine, original box and receipt, Tamiami Gun Shop, Miami. Bought it to carry after I got out of S. Miami Hospital, after being robbed and shot in W. Palm Bch Restaurant pkg lot. Still carry the .32cal inside my left hip.
Here's the x-ray:
