It’s quite a brutal drink when it’s stirred. I can’t make it past four of ‘em. Only doing one tonight.

I’m SO glad that I have a bar in my house.

I inherited an old S&W hammerless .38 rusty as hell. Sold it for nothing. Bet it’s worth a pretty penny now.

I’ll check Freedom Armory and see what kind of a price they have for bricks. If I can get a nice price on a partial shipment for Dad, myself and a cousin, I’ll gladly send some your way.

Man! That makes me miss my old Marlin .22 semiauto with the 18-round tubular magazine that I had back when I was thirteen. That was back in the early ‘80s.

I’ve got plenty on hand.

Just reluctant to shoot them up at the moment.

My 10/22 really likes the American Eagle 38gr copper plated hollow points, and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere for at least a year or more.

Dad still has 13 bricks left, which I got at a real good price 6-7 years ago. I saw some online a month ago for $22.50/550, but didn’t get any. And the FFL I occasionally help out hasn’t had any real good prices in a long time, so I haven’t gotten any more there. If I ever see any sub-$15 bricks of decent stuff, I’ll get some. Doubtful those days will return anytime soon.

A screw instead of a lever... definitely not the same unit.

A & F had a very nice outfitters section, 2nd floor, in their San Francisco shop up until the late '70s.
It was a wonderful place with a lot of history and neat things for the well supplied adventurer...or the wannabe adventurer.
However, like the famous San Francisco Gun Exchange, it went the way of political correctness.
Very sad.

p.s....I've also been to the 'Spy Shop'...quite a place.

Send a note to mylife and see if he's doing the Sunday eve thread. He's the thread master; I was just subbing for him for a while.
