Unresponsive plane believed to be Glazer’s
A small plane believed to be registered to Rochester developer Larry Glazer is flying over the Atlantic Ocean and is unresponsive.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command issued a news release at 12:50 p.m. saying it had scrambled two F-15 fighter jets to intercept the Naples, Fla.-bound Socata TBM-700 that took off from Rochester this morning.
An online flight tracker website, flightaware.com, lists the plane’s tail number as N900KN. That is the same tail number on the plane registered to Glazer, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and published publicity photos featuring Glazer.
Attempts to reach Glazer, who has development projects in Naples, on his cellphone were unsuccessful. A voicemail left on his phone was not immediately returned.
Joseph Rowley Jr., director of leasing and marketing at Buckingham Properties, which is owned by Glazer, declined to comment.

This reminds me of an old STEVE CANYON TV plot from about 55 years ago.
A fighter jet takes off, loses pressurization, but the plane is flying toward “enemy” air space and Steve Canyon has to shoot it down.
The depressurization was caused by some kids shooting at a target, but the bullets were hitting the aircraft on the ground, yet out of sight.

It was suggested that depressurization was slow, as in falling asleep. Radio transmissions say another plane flew in to see oxygen masks rising and falling. What happened after that is unknown.

Flight Radar says departure was 8:25 AM EDT time. More than 5 hours now so must be on reserve fuel.
So sad for these families. Lord, have mercy.
