What’s the average age of a general aviation pilot these days? I bet it is creeping up quite a bit as all the regulations have made it too expensive for younger people to get licensed or buy planes.

What’s the average age of a general aviation pilot these days? I remember about 8 years or so ago when a pilot had a heart attack while approaching Santa Monica airport and the plane crashed into an apartment complex... burned down the whole block.
