Things just went to 11 on the Spinal-Tap amplifier of massive infectious disease outbreaks. As AP reports, the Ebola outbreak that has killed more than 700 people in West Africa is moving faster than the efforts to control the disease, the head of the World Health Organization warned. Dr. Margaret Chan pulled no punches in her direct statement, "If the situation continues to deteriorate, the consequences can be catastrophic in terms of lost lives but also severe socio-economic disruption and a high risk of spread to other countries." Time to panic?

I have not seen them....got any links or time to show them?
They would be most reassuring to see.
I’ll look. In one the us doc who has it said he was swimming in sweat and the goggle were fogging up after 15 mins. He was trying to do surgery.
I actually just found some stuff on another thread and pinged you...it is soooo reassuring to think they were not properly covered up. To me at least.

Exactly.
Creating hiysteria is what they all do best, of coarse they are hoping it takes and spreads to a pandemic so they can quel the herd

What does that actually mean? I remember that there was a movie — perhaps 30 years ago — with “Spinal Tap” as/in the title, but that’s as far as I can go with this reference.
It’s a good think Obama keeps our borders open. Otherwise, some poor immigrant with Ebola might be denied the chance to tour our country for weeks, greeting thousands of Americans face to face, before finally being diagnosed and treated at our expense.
I believe it is a reference to the movie, but since I never saw it I can’t say what it is about, but maybe just guessing but I never seen a setting that stops at 11, most stop at ten so I’d say it means to the max plus one.
Okay, thanks. I guess I am just too old and uncool to be up on references to movies of any sort.

Thanks, but that sound you heard was the movie reference still flying over this old lady’s head. ‘Sokay, though, as I understood the rest of the article.
