Sarah Palin hasnt held office for five years, but the former Alaska governors reach only seems to grow.
The one-time GOP vice presidential nominee has launched her own Internet TV network, named drumroll, please The Sarah Palin Channel. Its a subscription-based service, and shes charging $9.95 a month or $99.95 a year.
I want to talk directly to you on our channel, on my terms and no need to please the powers that be, Ms. Palin says in a video on the site, which went live Sunday. Together, well go beyond the sound bites and cut through the medias politically correct filter.

That is a lie, who has been more politically active and successful in advancing conservatism, than Governor Palin for the last 6 years.
Conservatives need to stay away from Glenn Beck.
Money makes the world go around. Without it, she can’t campaign with and for people, can’t “make a difference”.
I want her to be as effective, as much of a thorn in the libs’ collective arses, as possible. And that takes money.
More power to her. I wish her well.
A conservative politico wants to start a station to get a conservative message out; and posters on a conservative website criticize her for asking users to voluntarily pay for access. Did I wake up in Bizarro world?
I don’t begrudge her the money. I do think it’s silly how much people think she’s some sort of great crusader. She’s a pundit, a professional celebrity. She went from obscure governor to VP of a doomed candidacy and somehow a cult developed around her. She isn’t effective, she isn’t a thorn in anybody’s arses. She’s making money to talk to the choir. Which is fine, but let’s not pretend it’s changing the world. Like most professional talkers if she disappeared tomorrow people would forget about her the day after.
Join the club! It is bizarre and inexcusable.
“...I dont begrudge her the money....”
No, I didn’t think you did. Did not mean to imply it, either; my point was that no matter what is takes for her to get face time, voice time, photo time, she’ll do it - it drives the left bat-sh*t crazy that she’s out there.
“...She isnt effective, she isnt a thorn in anybodys arses...”
We’ll disagree there, friend. A LOT of women see her, hear her, and compare her to the shrill harpies on the left. I teach women to shoot; I talk to them all the time, and Mrs. Palin is definitely a face they know and relate to.
“...Which is fine, but lets not pretend its changing the world....”
It’s not changing “the world”, but she has an impact here and now; the specter of her running again is always on their minds... the whole “living in their heads rent-free” thing.
“...and somehow a cult developed around her. ..”
That’s because she gave people a bit of hope for something better - related to things that a lot of us remember and want to get back. Everybody needs that.
Hell, “hope” is how this frigging assclown got elected in the first place!
I think in the grand scheme of things, Mrs. Palin has a part to play - like you, me, and a host of other folks.
She’s got my support - as a candidate, as a pundit, or a professional celebrity.
Hell, she’s an old-school American, and I’ll support that ANY and EVERY time.
A lot of already CONSERVATIVE women see her and hear her. That’s the problem with the pundit life in this modern age when everybody constructs their own echo chamber. The only time liberal women are exposed to what she’s saying it’s been edited to make sure she sounds like an idiot. Pundits these days all wind up preaching to the choir, the age of people being exposed to differing opinions has passed. It’s a weird evolution of communication, here in the internet age when it’s easier than ever to get ideas from everywhere and create informed opinions people now use the internet to filter what their exposed to and make sure they only get what they already agree with.
Then tell me how one makes money on the Internet if they don't sell a product or have advertisers?
We need this! A Tea Party Network—the roots for a 3rd Party—a new way to govern America using the Constution as a guide. Maybe we need a New Republic. I long for the day she will be on the major cable system.
You're missing the bigger picture. With this TV channel, it is accessible ANYWHERE on a mobile device. I have a Samsung S4 and even YouTube on it sucks. When and if she runs for President, her supporters will know when she is coming, what speech she will give, and at what venue. This completely shuts out the MSM and forces them to cover her and her huge crowds on her terms.
By sitting behind a paywall, shes limiting her audience to her loyal fanbase.
Good. That eliminates the fringe wacko leftists and other disruptors. No liberal is going to pay $9.95 a month to go and harass Palin at one of her speeches. Conservatives will though, and once the crowds are broadcast, others will jump in and pay too.
Those of you complaining about Palin making money should realize that just 5 years ago, her family was in financial ruins and she had to resign to escape the Alinskyites targeting her using her own law.
“...The only time liberal women are exposed to what shes saying its been edited to make sure she sounds like an idiot...”
True enough. But I still believe she plays an important part.
We’ll leave it there, brother, as I have to go food shopping to get some chow in the house for the week.
Have a great evenin’.
I know we dont agree with him 100% but he is certainly on our side

Are we talking about the same Glenn Beck? The one who thinks it’s a great idea for people to help the illegal invaders stay in our country? No, thanks.
Sounds as if she's interested in more than just preaching to the choir.
Is the Channel member only?
Yes, we have launched our video channel looking for the support of our community through subscriptions. We also feel that the community would feel more secure knowing everyone watching, uploading videos, and participating in the discussions and video chats was a contributing member and not anonymous. That said, you are free to share your favorite videos with your friends on Facebook and elsewhere, and if they click on the links you share they too will be able to watch the video you share (although not see or participate in the conversation around it). We think our videos are valuable to many, and encourage you to pass them on to friends in this way.
How come the Palin Family are not launching any of the following businesses.
Expanding their Fishing, Todd designing or manufacturing any of the vehicles he can operate including Seaplanes, Snowmobiles, ATV's etc.
Yes they are mature businesses, but on the back side their is a ton of Bureaucrats with fees and licenses and governing agencies.
They don't have to deal with Fedzilla to Launch a TV Channel on the web.....Yet...
That’s just understanding that people sharing the videos on social media is great advertising. But who’s going to be clicking through when you share a video on FB? Probably not your liberal friends and relatives.
If there’s a Sarah Palin video on YouTube, more than conservatives will watch it.
All you have to do is read the comment section on Facebook or Breitbart to realize she attracts a lot of libs. Kinda like Rush.
No they won’t. There ARE Sarah Palin videos on YouTube and the libs avoid them, unless they feel like complaining about them and trying to get them pulled. In this modern internet age people put a lot of effort into making sure they’re in an echo chamber.
People going over to make rude comments are generally not watching the video, they just make their comment and leave.
Question:
I thought it was a smart business idea back in March when I first heard of it and I think its a smart business idea now that Ive seen the results. It reminds me a bit, in fact, of what the boss emeritus was aiming for with our daily Vent segments back when Hot Air first launched, although Palins project promises lots more video content than we were capable of. (I also wonder if, like HA, her channel will feature more written content over time.) Tapp, the company behind it, sees its goal as connecting super-fans to the personalities they cant get enough of, and no pol has as many super-fans as Palin. Thats why I dont understand the grumbling about the subscription fee. Its slightly more expensive than Netflix $9.95 per month or $99.95 per year, same as TheBlaze but why wouldnt it be? Until recently, Netflix was the ultimate low-motivation purchase. You signed up not because there was anything in particular you wanted to watch but because the size of their library meant that you could find something of interest when you got bored. (The success of House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black may be changing that.) Palins channel and TheBlaze are high-motivation purchases: Theyre pitched not at the general public but at core fans of two political personalities with an intense following. Why wouldnt people like that pay more than the average Joe pays for Netflix? Some Palin and Beck fans would hand over quite a bit more than 10 bucks a month, Im sure.
Where does Tapp go after this, though? Who else on the public landscape would be a good fit for this sort of personalized TV channel? I think athletes are the best fit: Theyve got the time to do it in the off-season (and maybe sporadically during the season) and theyve got intense fan bases whod be willing to pay for a look behind the scenes. Why should LeBron or Richard Sherman be content with pre-game interviews or Twitter when they could do a webcam vid speaking directly to their fans once or twice a week, post it to their personal site, and charge five bucks a month to watch it? In the off-season, they could hire a small crew and do slightly more professional features every couple of weeks. Theyd make millions. Or rather, millions more than they do now. The only question is how much aggravation theyre willing to deal with during their down time in churning out clips.
If she would decide to re-enter the political arena, would this count against the equal access laws? Or could she continue it during a (hypothetical) campaign?
Hopefully she'll avoid Beck like the plague.........
