Did anyone lose any money?

Went to the local liquor store to buy me a bottle of rum and as I stepped out of my truck and onto the sidewalk, there it was staring me in the face. It was so easy to reach down and pick it up.
Is it yours?
If so, please tell me the denomination of the bill and where you think you lost it. If you're correct, I'll mail it off to you....I swear:-)

I once found $63 tightly rolled up, laying in the parking lot of a largely deserted Wal*Mart (3:30am). I gave the money to a local charity.

I dropped every denomination of US currency at all the liquor stores in the USA and the first person to send me one of those bills back will get to help my friend who is an exiled Nigerian Prince who needs some help with his banking troubles and is offering a huge reward!!!!That is odd, I just transferred funds from my account to cover his expenses and of course gave him all the data to access my account so he could send me several million dollars. Do we have a problem here? LOL

I lost $15,000,000 in Nigeria. I’d like it back.

When I was a kid we found a total of about $25-$30 in $1 bills blowing all over our back lot like they were leaves.
It just seemed to appear out of nowhere several times over several weeks and was blowing all over the place.
Never did know where it came from.

It was a $100 bill. . . Don’t worry. Go ahead and keep it. I just printed it this morning. I got lots more where that came from and my printing presses are running 24/7. Janet Yellin, Chair Person of the Federal Reserve. . . (Drunken Sailor in training, but naturally gifted.)

While post 2008/09 has been pretty tight, me and some of my coworkers have always found, among other things, cash along the freeway. I’ve gotten a couple hundred, plus a 1901 $20 double eagle and a couple nice rings.
Eyeball the windward side of fence lines, off ramps, etc. Look for shapes, NOT “concepts”. You’re looking for green rectangles and circles and/or shiny things :-)

Three times in my life, I've found money. Once up in Portland, OR; I'd just exited a Shari's Restaurant, paused to light up a cigarette and lo and behold, right in front of me....a $100 bill. In Prague, I found a 1000 Kč note (about $50) on the tram seat I was just about to sit down on. There was no one else in the tram car - just me, and I didn't see anyone get off the tram before I entered, so it must've been sitting there for at least a few minutes between stops. Then in Berlin, I exited a Kaiser's grocery store, turned to my left, and a 200 (close to $270) note blew up on a gust of wind right into my face. At first I thought it was some kind of funny-money or a joke bill, but I looked it closely and it was indeed the real deal. It's not commonly used in the EU, hence my surprise. Again, I looked, and there was no one around - just me. Now if only a big fat bag of dollars or euros fall from the heavens and land on my balcony, I'd be happy as a clam. :D

I’m a dumba$$. I was in Walmart early one morning and went to get $200 from the ATM. In the hopper was a $20 bill.
I walked over to the lady at the service desk and asked her if she could make a PA announcement or something “I’m not allowed to do that. I can turn it in to the ‘something office’ here is all I can do.” I figured somebody in the store might be missing it.
She then went in the back, supposedly to the ‘something office’ and there went that $20 bucks.

Was Grover Cleveland on the front of it? Or maybe that scum, Woodrow Wilson? Did it say anything about gold?

I see you are in California - I would reconsider whether or not you should bend over to retrieve it...
