A toddler who woke up at her own funeral is reportedly dead.
Startled mourners thought they had caught a miracle on camera when the toddler they were about to bury woke up.
The three-year-old from Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines, was pronounced dead at 9am on Friday and was set for burial at 1pm on Saturday.
But during the funeral her family, friends and loved ones got the surprise of their lives when the little girl came back to life.
People started recording the unbelievable scenes after a priest was preparing to administer the last sacrament and someone noticed the toddler move before she suddenly opened her eyes.
But since the video has become an internet sensation it has been reported that the toddler has been confirmed as dead.
In other news, Generalissimo Fransisco Franco is still dead.
Seriously though, what a horrid roller coaster ride for the parents.
Maybe instead of all just recording at least one of them should have done some resuscitating.
did you see the video of the Cyclops baby??
What an awful, heart-ripping few days that must’ve been. Some months ago a little boy awoke under similar circumstances, asked for water and died shortly afterward. Very sad for these families who think they’ve witnessed a miracle, only to have it all taken away again.
Is it common for people to wake up before they die? Is it God’s way of giving us a chance to say goodbye?
Why do you always have these weird-azz posts?
I’m speaking from personal experience here. I was in a prayer meeting with a young woman who was born blind. She was prayed for and several minutes later she started actually being able to see! She looked right in my face!
The people who were there were told that she was receiving her sight. They should have been praising the Lord! But they only gave an “Amen” and kept on with their singing. They were absorbed in themselves.
A few minutes later her sight started going away again. I took her home that night, still blind.
My friend did not have a completed healing because the people there did not praise the Lord when it was obvious that He was working. So it is possible that you can actually have a miracle but lose it if you do not praise the Lord with your whole heart when you see Him move.
Those who minored in philosophy understand the poster Nick.
Why do we live in a weird world?
That seems like a pretty capricious God you serve. My God works His will despite the frailty of his people. It’s called grace and mercy —undeserved and impossible from a human standpoint. Were the 9 lepers struck down again after only the one returned?
If God requires goodness without His providence, what need of a Savior? All our righteousness is as filthy rags.
Well if she wasn’t embalmed maybe it was just bodily movement? I’ve heard of people in a morgue moving but it was only muscle spasms. So not sure. In any event it had to be traumatic on the parents.
Could have been rigor mortis. My HS biology teacher saw a corpse sit up. She was “surprised,” to put it mildly.
“Why do we live in a weird world?”
Because our egos crave power which creates an illusion that denies the reality of the truth our souls inhabit.
Assuming the child did wake up alive for that short period, I’d be thankful I got to spend just one day longer with my child.
So God is an Indian giver?
I saw a prank video, where a guy hid himself underneath a table that had a corpse that was about to be examined by a medical examiner. The guy ran an electrical current through the corpse, causing it to raise its right arm suddenly.
Yeah, the ME ran out of the room.
Did she really wake up or was it a hoax?
True dat.
So He punished the girl with continued blindness because the folks around her didn't pray hard enough?
