A survey of colleges and universities finds a lack of coordination between many campuses and local law enforcement in handling sexual assaults, and that many schools have gone years without investigating such cases.
About 40 percent of colleges and universities reported not having conducted a sexual assault investigation in the past five years, including 6 percent of the nations largest public institutions. More than 20 percent of large, private schools conducted fewer investigations than the number of incidents reported to the Education Department.

Another reason campuses should not have their own “police” force.
I thought colleges were a forum for ‘investigating’ all sorts of ideas and things.
Not legitimate rapes.
What about the local police departments? Have they conducted any investigations?
because when a Marxist student is involved, its not rape, rape.
The College System is no longer there for highrt learning. Colleges promote parting and with that you have the breakdown of society.
Exaggerating only slightly.
Only if it happens off campus. The issue with these is that in a vast majority of them, the victim does not want to pursue any charges...mainly because the incident was an alcohol fueled bad judgment case on both parties...and the female reports it to cover her rear end with parents and boyfriend back home...
There is a logical fallacy in this argument. The colleges report they haven’t investigated any recent rapes, and the author assumes that there are rapes that have gone uninvestigated, ignoring the possibility that there may have been no rapes to investigate at those campuses.
The oft-touted figure by feminists, that “1 in 5” women is sexually assaulted at college was simply made up from thin air. Rapes on campus are much, much less common than that, if you look at the actual numbers:
“During the years surveyed, 1995-2002, the DOJ found that there were six rapes or sexual assaults per thousand per
year.”
So, if you go to college for 4 years, you have a 24 in 1000 (or 1 in 42) chance of being raped or sexually assaulted, and we know that not all of those are actually reported. So, at least some of these colleges might just not have had any reported incidents to investigate.
It’s lower than that.
You should not include ‘sexual assaults’ with rape.
Every campus reports their rape statistics. You can get them from the university.
The incidence of rap is very low.
With the number of women who would just throw themselves at you nigh 30 years ago it’s hard to imagine anyone be compelled to force one.
Rape should be subject to the death sentence. Same with the false accusation of rape.
Report list 12 in 3 years.
Population 30,000 say 15,000 women
So closer to 1 in 1,000 for three years.
“Its lower than that.
You should not include sexual assaults with rape.”
Yes, that’s true, but I just pulled that from the article, I didn’t want to have to compile the national stats myself. Actual rapes will be lower, naturally.
The universities insist on coed dorms, showers, bathrooms and wonder why there are problems.
These are the same idiots who climb over the fence at the zoo to feed cookies to the bears & tigers.
