6 days before tax day liberal Christmas in 2013 Lois Lerner was emailing with one of her fellow cronies and warning them to be careful, “we need to be cautious about what we say in emails”.

Motive for destruction of evidence certainly. And consciousness of guilt.
She EMAILED someone to tell them to be cautious what they say in emails? I do not see Mensa in Ms. Lerner’s future.

Evidence? Yes.
Proof? No.

Ben, don’t you know there’s not a “smidgen” of proof of any conspiracy.
I’m sorry their are so many scandals now for this administration now I can’t recall which scandal he used the word “Smidgen.”

All bombshell emails should be clearly marked BOMBSHELL on the subject line. Otherwise, no one will know.
It does convey a sense of “us vs them’ and “we definitely have something to hide, so always be hiding!” If you are doing your job legally, honestly and openly, and working for the people, then why does the IRS need all this obfuscation, secrecy and data legerdemain. This person reeks of guilt and deception and what they did is an impeachable offense. (I would pull back the former heads, like Schulman, and take their pensions for these criminal acts. Someone allowed this to go on and someone should pay for it.)
But this email is not a smoking gun, just a path to the gun cabinet.
What a dumb ass. Saying “we need to be cautious about what we say in emails” in an email is about the stupidest thing you can ever say in an email.
This is helpful for the good guys, but can be easily spun as follows:
“She was just afraid of further political witchhunts by Congress and the more we say in emails the more Congress can twist what we say for political purposes. Also, every organization encourages its people to use email judicially.”
