William Devane (IMDb page), who plays “President James Heller” on Fox’s prime time 24: Live Another Day, told USA Today that “obviously I’m a big fan of Obama, as a guy who’s smart and articulate” and, in his acting, “I say to myself, ‘what has got to be going on in the private side of this guy’s brain’ – the pressure, the racism that is thrown out — and he handles it with such dignity.’”

I find it tragically interesting that actors like Tom Hanks (and Devane) consistently play heroic American roles: Saving Private Ryan; and his latest: "Captain Phillips", the story of a heroic American captain captured and brutalized by "poor" Somali Muslim pirate "fisherman" who are allowed to terrorize the sea lanes, capture ships along with their crews and hold them for ransom which goes to fund Muslim thug-terrorists who then use the money to "kill infidels". All because of the direct and active, ineptly destructive policies of the American-hating, pro-Muslim, terrorist loving Obaination... The very man-boy-"king" THEY VOTED FOR AND WHOLE-HEARTEDLY SUPPORT!
The same holds true in spades for Spielberg who "cares" so much about injustice, the Holocaust and the greatness of our WWII vets who sacrificed so much to deliver the world from absolute dictators, tyranny and oppression: Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan... And yet Spielberg bends his knee to the American dictator-tyrant,"boy-king" Obamessiah! The one person in America who has done more to destroy the country from within; by doing everything in his power to stir up black on white race hatred, stir up hatred toward every American citizen and institution that holds to the very foundational American values which have defined the nation and made her great; suppress freedom of Religion, freedom of speech... and now even FREEDOM OF THOUGHT! While purposely impoverishing and enslaving American citizens through Executive Orders in order to force them, along with the ENTIRE COUNTRY, to submit themselves, their families and their very futures to HIS WHIMS AND HIS WILL! Alienate each and every one of our traditional allies throughout the world while replacing them with his new "allies": i.e., "his people": Marxists, leftists, traditional enemies of America, Black Racists, Muslim radicals and Islamic terrorists... EVERYONE WHO HATES AMERICA AND WHAT SHE HAS STOOD FOR SINCE HER CHRISTIAN FOUNDING. THIS IS THE MAN THEY SUPPORT! (Yes I am YELLING!)
What accounts for such colossal, unprecedented hypocrisy of their position and the roles they choose to play? Answer: these people are spiritually blind and continually being deceived by Satan, the "god of this world" who is also "the Father of lies"; and they are willing tools in his hands.

What a disappointment. I would have pegged him as a Repub or Conservative......I have always liked him, but not now. He just proved himself as an absolute out of touch, clueless, small-minded idiot. Unbelievable stupidity.....especially after witnessing the Obama disasters. Wisdom usually comes with age, but not for him.

I always felt that actors and politicians play a “role” in their public lives. It does not coincide with their true feelings. They do whatever they must to maintain their status.
I always liked Hanks until he did the "Pledge of Allegiance" during the 9-11 telethon and left out "under God"! He became a putz to me!

I agree. When I see those bumper stickers it tends to be old ladies or Holder’s people. I guess Obama was smart to play up the whole race thing. Even this dumbass actor believes it.
Iirc Hanks made an unflattering public comment about either Obama or Clinto a while ago and was quickly and obviously taken to the woodshed, and subsequently apologized.
Spielbergs a real piece of work. He tried to destroy Megan Fox’s career after she (jokingly) referred to Transformers director Michael Bay as a “Nazi” on the set. Iirc Bay even said it was no big deal, but he couldnt fight her being kicked off Transformers 3 and being blacklisted.
