Yes indeed. My father was placed on a BP med by his nurse practioner because of his diabetes even though is BP is always under 120 usually a systolic of under 115.

He fell at home, when the paramedics picked him up his BP was 60/40!! We moved him near us and took him off the med!

Can you recommend some reading on that subject? I am on what I think is too much and too many Blood Pressure meds and feel unsteady most of the time.

Statis cause leg weakness and pain.

BP’s lower BP until you get dizzy when you bend over.

Amlodipine Besylate 5mg, Valsartan-HCTZ 12.5 mg. If I stopped these I’d be back in the hospital in no time...or in the morgue.

Correct Appy Pappy...I am a Physical Therapist and I visit senior citizens in their homes. They are very often over medicated with BP and statins. Both meds can create falling down risk.

I am constantly amazed and alarmed at how oldsters who would never smoke a joint become compliant addicted slaves to their doc/pharm pushers.

While drug therapy is a wonderful blessing...out of control Big Pharm is recking havoc on our population.
