Is it time for you to delete your Facebook account permanently? This guy thinks so, and his arguments may just convince you. You should take a moment to hear what he has to say and then decide for yourself.

So did I. I originally signed on to keep in touch with Class of ‘57 friends....was flooded with stuff from others I hardly knew. I finally got the cruds of hearing that somebody’s canary died or their hamster had pups, and I deleted out of FB, never to return.

Everyone is trying to get me to get a smartphone. I always say I don’t want anything in my purse that’s smarter than I am.
How do you rewind those?
I could NOT make it do anything I wanted it to, look up a number and make a call only. Everytime I rubbed my finger across the screen it gave me something different.
I know it takes time to get used to it but I wasn't willing. I got my old flip phone out of the drawer and it is still good to go. All I want a phone to do is call people, that's it!

Class of 57 is one of my favorite Statler Brothers songs.
I use FB mostly to keep up on a few friends, a few relatives, and some interests such as airshows, old jeeps/blazers, old TV shows and movies, Ayn Rand, and photography stuff.

Add Boobtube to the list, and you’ve got it. The Evil Trinity.
I get almost multiple daily missives from Cain, Palin, and Cruz on FB.
For some reason Zucky lets them operate.

You still have to put a wedge to one side to get it to catch and play? (remembering the last 8 track player I played).. :D
Never joined it or MySpace, either, when it was all the rage. It can be a bit of a problem with the blues dance community, who spread word of their events that way. I’m not a big fan of Zuckerberg.
I am on Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn, and some sites like goodreads and librarything. There are only so many hours in the day.
There are security concerns. I’ve been hacked twice on Twitter, never that I know of on the others.
I was very sorry when Yummly, a recipe site, started making people log in with fb.

BTW... Actually logged onto a FB account, that I had made back in 2011 to contact 2 friends.. I don’t even remember the password!!! Had some update email.. I checked the source to make sure it wasn’t some scam.. clicked on it, and I was BACK IN my own FB account?! something wrong there :p
Anyway.. NO personal info on there.. and still set to private..
I WAS able to get back into contact with a friend (1 of the 2 I made it for) because of it.. BUT, I STILL will NEVER put ANYTHING about me there..
I deleted my facebook last year. I don’t miss it a bit.
