I could not believe what I was seeing. There was Chris Christie, the Governor of New Jersey doing a "Lindy" type routine with Jimmy Fallon. The piece was titled Evolution of Dad Dancing. I have to say, I admire his courage to get out there on nationwide camera giggling and jiggling in his blue short sleeved Polo Shirt, and his White Khaki pants yanked up north of his elbows. I'm somewhat overweight too, and I could not have done it. Of course, I don't expect to allow my name to be floated as a possible contender for GOP Presidential Nomination. Nor do I have to jump through hoops to distract the public from errors in judgement made by my personal staff (but not by me!). I was at the gym on my stationary bike with no volume on. I saw them both on TV dancing and joking around. The subtitle said; Chris Christie Dances Off Bridge Scandal! And me, standing here without a drop of eye bleach!
Ok, I thought it was funny.
Also, I like the difference between the republican and dem convention dancing. The pubs are trying to enjoy the music and fun, but know they can’t dance. The dems are trying to pull off that they can dance, and looking like fools! Perfect!
They talk about how much weight he has lost. I guess so ... but he has so much more to go.

That’s how I used to think back when I heard of; A. Obama’a Greek Columns, B. Lena Dunham; Campaign video for O, called “Your First Time!”, C. Michelle O, at a school visit, whirling a Hula Hoop around her ample derriere, with the waistband of her undershorts clearly visible., D. Lie Of The Year; “You can keep your doctor, PERIOD!”,E. I don’t want my daughters punished with a baby!.........And STILL the 47% Brick-Brained Nincompoops keep cheering in his corner. Don’t OVER-estimate the intelligence or the integrity of the majority of American voters
I’m pretty sure I know where that clip came from. Laurel and Hardy were dancing to the tune of “Shine On Harvest Moon”, Olly was singing (singing very well) and was accompanied by a farmer character who played his fiddle. Stan Laurel was also playing the Spoons. Olly ended the song walking down the road with Stan. They were both whistling. My family used to watch Laurel & Hardy movies, followed by Shirley Temple Movies every Sunday during our breakfast after 11am Mass at St. Cecilia. Good Times!
I, too, loved it. I don”t think I would vote for him fr President, but I respect his guts in doing this crazy dance. It seems obvious to me that he has lost a lot of weight. Let’s give him credit for this. I am sure it has no been easy.
Christie dead-panned it throughout.
I wish he'd done "The RINO!".
