Eat what you like. We’re all going to die of something.
Eat whatever you want, just don’t eat so much of it.
As I read once, when you eat and your body wants to store the excess as fat, it all becomes saturated fat. So your body can’t think that saturated fat is bad.
I wonder if the eating guidelines, trying to steer people away from the diets they ate for centuries, are part of the obesity problem. If people don’t get enough of the right kind of nutrient, then it makes sense that they would be compelled to eat more food until they get enough of it.
No, actually, they’re delicious.
also read from a nutritionist about fads, elimation diets, etc....she said basicall they're all a bunch of hooey.....moderation is the key....
today its gluten free this and that....they did an double blind test on several groups and found no difference at all and how they felt, glutin free or not...
I read somewhere that you can totally stop eating for weeks at a time.
Not that I would ever want to try that.
It is noble’s food. This is why they have been trying to scare us peons away from it for so long.
The idea that there’s ever going to be some sort of new, magic bullet diet, avoiding this but more of that, that’s going to be the perfect diet for every single person should have been discredited by now. So much faddism, so much interference from sources that have become politicized. Watch your portions. Don’t go overboard on anything. Move around more, maybe even exercise. You’ll find that it’s not so much the food but what you are or aren’t doing with it once digested.
They’re three of the seven food groups. The others are coffee, fish, salami and peanut butter.
I thought chocolate was a food group.
That makes eight. Somethings’s off here.
Bacon is one of the major food groups.
That makes nine. Just how many food groups are there?
Well, the ones I know are Meat, Potatoes, Bacon, Cheese, and beer.
Bookmark
mine would include hoisin and sriracha along with the beer.
Real butter only, no margarine.
Only good cuts of meat.
Provolone cheese sliced thin then rolled up to eat.
It is, right along with dairy. The chocolate goes on top of the ice cream.
>> Teicholz writes that the low-fat, fruit- and vegetable-filled diet that you thought was healthy doesn’t have all the benefits it claims.
The vegetable part is definitely healthy.
