I heard on the radio......her main point is that we eat less meat and more carbs and instead of getting healthier, we are actually sicker....

also read from a nutritionist about fads, elimation diets, etc....she said basicall they're all a bunch of hooey.....moderation is the key....

today its gluten free this and that....they did an double blind test on several groups and found no difference at all and how they felt, glutin free or not...

Unfortunately, moderation alone isn’t enough for diabetics.

Gluten free makes sense for people who have celiac disease. But for healthy people to avoid gluten because people with a specific disease cannot eat it makes no sense. It makes as much sense as avoiding sugar because it's bad for diabetics.

Eventually, this fad will pass like most eating fads. A small number of orthorexics will maintain the diet, while the rest of the food faddists move on to something else.
