HOLLAND, MA (WSHM) -
State police rescued a golden retriever that was wedged under its owner's car after it was accidentally run over Sunday afternoon.
A woman was backing out of her driveway when she hit the retriever, which caused the animal to be pinned under the vehicle, according to the Massachusetts State Police Facebook page.

Give credit when it is due. Our rescue has an excellent relationship with local law enforcement.
A recently adopted German shepherd jumped an eight foot fence looking for its foster family. Our rescue had not one but three local police departments whose watch commanders asked any patrol vehicles to keep an eye out for the dog.
One offered to send its off duty canine officers to help out, another located an injured German shepherd (not ours but will rescue this one once well enough).
Fortunately we were able to locate the dog.

Yep, one of the first lessons a momma cat teaches her babies is how to climb trees.

In 17 years as cop, only once did I ever go for my weapon. It was a Doberman, I was invited into the fenced in back yard to speak at the owner and his wife let the puppy out the back door. I WOULD have the doggie, but the owner called him off. This was not a Lab or a Sheltie, etc. etc. I have a pit bull next door that likes to watch Judge Joe with my girlfriend. Used to piss her off but now,she say’s Lilly will be here in a minute. Neighbor gets pissed.
