I’m afraid somebody is going to die doing one of these stunts. I know a woman died in a water drinking contest that didn’t allow a bathroom break for an extended period. I think Adam Richman (Man Versus Food) has stopped doing the eating challenges. He had an easy one recently (at least it aired recently), putting away a 48-ounce Porterhouse at Shula’s restaurant.
After the second steak dinner “disappeared,” Danny Lee wondered where the “little, skinny, 120 pound woman” put the steak and asked if he could feel her stomach. She happily allowed him to touch her stomach. Lee reported to TheBlaze that it was “hard as a rock.” Danny Lee also told the Amarillo Globe News, “If there’s a zombie apocalypse, I want to stay away from this girl.”

While I don’t understand the desire to eat competitively and engorge ones self, and I wouldn’t consider doing so myself, she looks very happy. I don’t begrudge her doing what she enjoys. I do have to admit some curiosity as to how the process of eating 72 ounces of comes out in the end. Perhaps they will do a follow-up report.
If she did this in New York City, former Mayor Bloomberg would have placed her under arrest.
