CANNES -- In a blockbuster new video, Project Veritas has exposed the truth about the dark funding behind Hollywood's anti-fracking messaging machine.
New York Times Bestselling Author and Project Veritas founder and president James O'Keefe debuted the latest investigation at a "premiere" in Cannes, France on Wednesday.
In the investigation, an undercover journalist from Project Veritas posed as a member of a Middle Eastern oil dynasty and offered $9 million in funding to American filmmakers to fund an anti-fracking movie.
In video from a meeting with Ed Begley Jr., Mariel Hemingway and Josh Tickell, a Project Veritas investigator disguised as "Muhammed" offered $9 million for an anti-fracking film. "Muhammad" clearly states: "If Washington DC continues fracking, America will be energy efficient, and then they won't need my oil anymore."

Boy, watching that investigation really made me want to punch a bunch of people in the face.

And the liberals say the old white conservatives are all about the money but it sure doesn’t seem that way. They seem to get far more excited about getting it. Stands to reason that they get to keep theirs while us useless Tea Party Christians foot the bill to keep FedGov operating by having all of our funds “redistributed” to liberal low-lifes and their constituents.

O’Keefe does excellent work, but this is one ‘gotcha’ I just don’t see the importance of. It’s not like American doesn’t already know who and what these people are. They have zero credibility already.
I really hope James focus’ next effort is on the real problems facing us, not the loony leftists who blow money on BS in Hollywood.

I agree. Although I'm a highly-trained graduate of FReeper University I read and re-read and still can't quite grasp what the frack it's all about in relation to the guy on the street who can't find a job or the mom trying desperately to stretch her food budget money.
I'm afraid that this is one of O'Keefe's catches that isn't going to grow legs....in Hollywood or anywhere else, for that matter.

Watching the dem/libs since JFK, my take is they feel entitled to pad their personal wealth with public money, using these “do gooder” programs as a cover and as a vehicle to the Treasury. They know without any doubt that when they get their fill and we finally kick em out, the Republicans will find a way to right the ship and rebuild the Treasury, ready for the next lib turn at the helm to repeat the same process again and again.
These liberals obviously subscribe to the Arab maxim “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Too bad that their enemy is their own country and its poorer citizens who won’t be able to make Cannes this year.

Which aspect of it do you think is its weakest message?
That Hollywood celebrities who claim to be working for a better earth would secretly accept money from a foreign nation that has historically been the supplier of much of the worlds oil?
Or that the supplier of much of the world's oil is willing to pay millions of dollars to liberals to make false claims regarding capitalist enterprises in the U.S.?
There are millions of "independent" voters who just might be upset with this duplicity and change their voting habits, perhaps for life. If they don't, then we are doomed anyway.
If they do, then perhaps we can turn things around.
Whichever occurs, it will not be the fault of the message or the messenger. The truth is there for those who wish to see.
