That is not a real large county population. I do not know if the Sheriff is up for reelection this year or not, but this kinda makes me wonder if maybe Mr Hytrek is supporting the wrong guy this year or maybe supported the wrong guy in the last election.

These sheriff’s deputies officers ought to be facing criminal charges of aggravated assault, but since prosecutors in most jurisdictions have become enablers of this sort of criminal behavior, this farmer had to resort to Federal civil court. I hope that he at least gets a new tractor out of the deal.

The USA needs to disband 99% of all the SWAT teams, give them their billy clubs and send them back to walk a beat.
SWAT is way over used. SWAT should not be used to serve warrants, resolve domestic disputes or ever go to a school to beat up unruly children.
