It is too early to cut him. It would seem underhanded, even though they can't blame homophobia since they new what they were getting with him. But by most accounts, he is not qualified athletically to be on the team. They can let him go through training camp, assign him to a practice squad, and cut him later, after his numbers show that he is not good enough to make the team. If he doesn't have the measurable numbers to make the team, nothing Oprah can do can change that.
