They showed the hug, but not the kiss. There was more than one kiss, and I bet they don't show the part when Mr. Gay Icon smashed what looked like wedding cake in scrawny little white dude's face and then open-mouthed kissed him. ESPN must be so proud. But why stop there? How about some anal while Joe Theisman gives the play-by-play?

I thought Jeff Fischer was smarter then that. What makes you think it was his call? I suspect the NFL made the Rams, "an offer they couldn't refuse."

The 249th pick..WOW what an honor LOL..pretty much it was between the homo or picking some hobo off the street..I wonder how the players on the RAMS will feel when Michael Sam is in the locker room with them, staring at their junk and admiring it

The Rams are stupid if they think its not going to be a huge distraction.

They'll be in LA the season after next. They're just planning ahead.

They also refuse to use the word “homosexual”. It is always “gay”. It is deliberate. I am sure the whole ESPN crew has been thru class/indoctrination on how this will b celebrated.

I doubt he had a say in the matter. This was between the owner and the commissioner. No coach, GM or any other football man wanted any part of this rainbow mafia sideshow.
Jeff Fisher is probably feeling sick to his stomach right about now.

I am sure the whole ESPN crew has been thru class/indoctrination... Absolutely. They were told to make this sound like the second coming of Jackie Robinson.

And I suspect the NFL told the Ram owners, “You know if you want to move to LA, we can make it real easy, or real hard for you. You catch my drift?”

Thanks for the reminder. Always wake up Sunday morning looking to see when the race starts and finding out they ran it the night before. I like the idea of Saturday night races because I have better things to do outside on Sunday afternoons. But it is a little harder getting used to than I thought. ;-)
This guy, Sams. I was wondering why there was such a hullabaloo and I had to click on a link to remind me who he was. Big freakin’ deal. On with the race! Um, as long as the rain stays away...

Gay? What is he happy about? he was drafted as a mercy pick. He’ll get a rookie check, play a couple of snaps in the pre-season then have free drinks in any gay bar for life.

To: Caipirabob
The video about this on ESPN’s front page currently is ridiculous. The last thirty seconds appears to be a scene in a homo bar as the announcement was made.
