Only the Scotttish know exactly how to roll out that t. It’s easier after having a wee bit o’ Scotttch.
Gosh every kid born in the late seventies was named Scott.
Of course they’re not—but you knew that.
Except I was born in the mid-60s.
Your parents were forward thinking. Yes I remember some Scotts in the sixties too. It was considered a daring and trendy name at the time.

I am among the #1, but I got it honestly, with both grandfathers having that name, and one gr-gr-grandfather. My sister was named after the song Sinatra sung for his daughter, "Nancy With the Laughing Face." To what extent that was the reason for Nancy being #9, I don't know.
Interesting - my sons’ names are #1 & #2 in 1900. I must be old-fashioned.
In 1900, they most likely WERE standard across races.
Frederick Douglas
Harriet Tubman
etc.
How about Shadrach, Mischach, and Abednego?
Or Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar?
Ah, sorry—didn’t get the 1900 angle.
Uh, well...
In 2013, Jayceon and Daleyza made the biggest jumps in
popularity in the top 1,000. Jayceon rose from 1,051 to 206
from 2012 to 2013, while Daleyza leaped from 3,715 to 585.
There's a rapper named Jayceon and a Spanish-language reality show host has a daughter named Daleyza. Give it another ten years, things could get really interesting.
I actually do like Japheth. You can keep Ham and Shem. (those always bring the Three Stooges to mind....)
