I kinda like “Ham, Shem and Japheth” myself.
It’s really Jose.
What, no La’Queshia or Damianique? Custom made to be unpopular!
"On a Steek."
It would be interesting to know if these names were standard across races.
That's nonsense. Most parents want their baby to have the same name as someone else's. Otherwise, there would never have been more than one "Nevaeh."
If it’s Jose (sorry, no accents here!) that’s a good thing. St. Joseph is the patron saint of many things, ranging from the universal Church to widows and orphans to a good death.
On the other hand, the latest rapper or movie star is not a good thing.
I thought the new “me” thing was to not capitalize names. Yes, I’ve seen this.
I have missed this trend so far.
That’s ridiculous.
No more ridiculous than some of the ghetto names that the welfare piglets come up with.
My name isn’t on the list from either 1900 or today. And I find that interesting, because it seems there are a lot of guys around my age with the same first name as me (my name is Scot, by the way).
Seriously. Three of 'em.
I’ve gotten to the point where I rarely bother to correct anyone anymore if they spell my name with two t’s. But it blows my mind that a few members of my family make that error!
I’ve always found that anyone named Scot will answer to Scott.
“Ive always found that anyone named Scot will answer to Scott.”
But what about guys named Scottt?
Depends on how that 3rd t rolls out.
