Its always a special treat when a trip to the grocery store or dentist turns into a rare car-spotting experience. A forgotten classic or exotic is seen prowling the streets or, even better, appears in the parking lot next to your car. Cue daydream starring you in that exotic car. Maybe youre in Monaco, driving into the sunset when

My parents bought a 1980 Citation X11. It was loaded...I got it in 84 and I loved it. The V6 was strong, but I took it to a Chevy dealer to have service done and they forgot to put oil in the engine. I blew the engine and the dealer didn’t do anything to help me. My parents got me a jeep to replaced it. My Citation wouldnt pull my new boat the Jeep can.
Pintos were good cars....saw a pinto race car at the track a few weeks ago.. it won...
Well, that EXP was hardly the only ugly one they built in the last 30 years,& some of them pretty recent, too.
“We all thought the Pontiac Aztek was ugly?”
I saw a dirty tan Aztek, and all it needed were some Afrika Korps logos on the fenders. That logo was a swastika superimposed on a palm tree.
Same set of cooper tires that I have on it now.
Dang, I was a Subaru salesperson from 1985 - 1987. We could have had a field day with that!
I'd rather have one of those, if not the higher-performance version. That, and it hits all the right numbers, including the ones that offend environmentalists. Finally, it doesn't overdo it like some of the larger Cadillacs & Buicks of the time.
Ugly with a capital ‘U’. Can’t say it wasn’t built like a tank, but ugly just the same.
The poor thing also has a horrible name. But my friend loves it. Gets 30mpg.
Early 70’s Dodge Darts are out of the time frame - but there was nothing uglier. And with the old slant 6 engine they just ran and ran and ran.
OWWWCH!!! Yikes!
Now THAT is a purty lil’ ride!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! {^)
No....you need a VW Thing, which is based on the German Kublewagon.
Theres a ugly car.
ouch
PT Cruiser should not be on the list. I fell in love with the Cruiser the first time I saw one, and as soon as I finished college and got a job where I could afford one, I bought one. It is a bit worn now, and probably will need new paint soon, but I love that car. I want to keep it forever.

I still see those VW things around. I’d like to have a Kettenkrad. It’s the German tracked vehicle with the motorcycle front end they used to lure in the Tiger at the end of “Saving Private Ryan”.
