Chief Bill Gillespie of Sparta, Miss knew how — take them in to custody, to the Police Station. then call their Parents to come get them.

Yep, you’ll be able to prevent 100% of the right of passage for kids into adulthood alright. /s
Better to simply watch over the events from the perimeter and keep them under control, rather than to jack boot everyone into submission.
When I was a kid, two officers would show up at the front door and ask that the party be toned down. It always was.
If the officers today were more cordial, they wouldn’t need a swat team to respond to these events. It’s disgusting.

And they wonder why drugs are popular.
How did any of us over 40 ever survive? It’s a mystery.

Police say underage drinking costs Nevada taxpayers about $607 million each year.
So they will spend $200 million to fight it, after which it will be an $800 million problem each year.

One time my Sgt. and I confronted a large group of teens. As we were greatly out number and they did not scatter like we thought they would, we change tactics.
Routing his radio through the P.A. he asked dispatch to send all the tow trucks that were on the list to our location.
The crowd of close to 200 clear the area in record time.
Another kegger I responded to with a Reserve Officer was in the sand dunes. The Reserve was nervous and not sure that we could handle the large crowd that was there. I said it would be easy.
As we got to the top of the dune, I hollored "This is the Police". "Your all under arrest". The kids all ran to which ever car was cloest and took off. There was a couple that were trying to carry the kegs but I convinced them to leave them. The Reserve started chasing some kids, but I got him to stop, and explained to him that that was not the purpose of this.
And that is how we handled "Underaged Drinking Parties" when I was an Officer. I'm not sure how much it cost? But I don't think it cost the combined budgets of the 6 Depts in the area $200M.

They're training them for the 4-shot grouping:
Police say underage drinking costs Nevada taxpayers about $607 million each year. In addition to traffic fatalities and other accidents, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention has linked underage drinking to homicides, sexual assaults, larceny and auto theft.
In other "government would never lie to you" news, The Bureau of Labor Statistics tells us that in 20% Of American families, everyone is unemployed, and that the unemployment rate dropped precipitously to 6.3%.
