Hate to say I told you so but President Obamas disinterest in enhancing our combat capability in favor of social egalitarianism and a warped sense of social justice is indeed having an impact on war readiness.
According to the Washington Times, A Navy F-18 fighter pilot and former Top Gun instructor is publicly warning admirals that retention is beginning to suffer from the militarys relentless social conditioning programs. Cmdr. Guy Snodgrass said sailors are becoming fed-up with the constant emphasis on social issues an apparent reference to gays in the military, women in combat and ending sexual harassment.

I don't think he was actually there very long, truth be told. Kind of a quick in-and-out, you know. He's pretty good at that.
> If they cant use the military against the citizens of this country, they want to destroy it.
BINGO. I suspect the soldiers would turn on their masters if requested to open fire on citizens without probable cause or any other good reason. The WH administration has probably done the math, hence the buildup of the civilian brownshirt police forces.
That is the goal so the institution can be transformed in place. Remember Sara Lister the Army Under Secretary in Clintigula’s administration. “The goal is to change the white male paradigm’ as the pattern for the officer corps values. Queers, dykes, and malcontents of all stripes are to be welcomed so straight white traditional males will eventually be told ‘there is no place for you here’.
Bring back sexual harassment?
That’s why people need to home school or send their children to private schools. I’m surprised the parents are not up in arms.
Active Duty ping.
The ROE’s have been bad for a decade or more.
Yeah, let it happen. Let this sanctimonious, pretentious, murderous country become enslaved to some rock worshipping pig religion. Then maybe we'll awaken from our slumber.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: "From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage." - Alexander Fraser Tytler (later Lord Alexander Fraser Woodhouslee), in "The Decline and Fall of the Athenian Republic," published 1776
Most military personnel used to kid around, not anything serious or worthy to be called sexual harassment. Then came the monthly sexual harassment classes for reservists and regulars, videos, and divisions. There were a few instances I am sure, but I never witnessed any violations.
The classes caused an uncomfortable atmosphere among men and women, because no one knew what was acceptable to say and what was not. Of course, the gays were not open at that time, so now I guess the tension is really difficult.
I think many say ‘bring back the sexual harrasment’ because it really wasn’t, it was bantor and letting off steam... not usually offensive. Now so many have an agenda, trusting someone to not be offended by kidding around is dangerous. The military is political and a battleground of political correctness or patriotism. That breeds discontent.
I’m sure you’re right.
Shoot, Al! It'll probably raise your IQ 20 points and cure those nasty emotional issues!
Who cares if we’ll eventually get our asses kicked by the Russians and the Chi-Coms, as long as we’ve achieved “tolerance” and “diversity” in doing so!!!
Liberalism: Being perfectly fine with Destroying and losing everything, as long as you feel “good” while doing it!
We will all be protected by the gays put into place by Zer0. The Muslims who hate the gays are also being built up. Seems like a pre-made scenario to destroy us.

Notice Al does not have a mag in the rifle, although a round could be in the chamber, maybe he was not given any ammo for a reason. Kinda like Barney Fife, except Barney did have one in his shirt pocket.
I am glad I was able to retire before this social crap really got out of hand.
“Were you in Cambodia with John Kerry back in 1968”.
Audie Murphy Kerry never sat foot in Cambodia, he lied about it the same why he fabricated a Silver Star story and four of five Purple Hearts during his extended 4 month tour. He’s the lying scumbag that abandoned his men after 4 measly months in-country, so he could take his arrogant, privileged ass back to the states and start lying about war crimes he had “observed” and “participated in” in his long and distinguished 4 month tour........not even long enough to receive credit for a short tour! He lied like hell. He called us all war criminals and he knew he was lying. The majority of the other liars that testified with him never sat foot in country and some never left the states. All a bunch of lying, anti-war dope-heads. I despise the big-nosed male version of Jane Fonda. He should have been shot for treason, standing right beside the traitor Fonda.
As someone who served in the Navy, that made me want to throw my hat on the ground.
But they aren't stopping there, and not just with the Navy. The USMC is in on it with their "Toward the Sounds of Chaos" commercial. The USMC, for God's sake.
I fully expected it from the Navy after what I have seen in recent years. I didn't expect that from the Marines.
Don't get me wrong. Our military has always assisted people around the world when they can, and that has never been anything to be ashamed of. One can and should have the discussion on whether it is fiscally responsible or mission creep or anything else, but our military does benefit from these things in addition to benefiting others in dire need.
But to make that the primary mission instead of the destruction of those who mean us harm is disturbing and deeply disconcerting to me.
The arrogance of John Kerry in his testimony and his lies makes me sick. And how he declared that we couldn’t possibly win, and that our withdrawal would not result in massive deaths.
Well he was wrong on all counts. Arrogant SOB makes me want to cuss like a sailor and makes me ill to remember that testimony he gave. That he hasn’t yet received a comeuppence is a failure of justice of the highest magnitude.
