Many records contained in his library would be lies while the remaing few would be written with disappearing ink.

I mean come on who wants to visit a library at the lowest level of a slimy sewer anyway.

Will the library include all the textbooks that Obama never once cracked open?

In Illinois, Tax Increases Become an Article of Faith
WSJ On-line ^ | April 25, 2014 | Heather Wilhelm

Posted by Pontiac

Donning orange T-shirts reading “Faith in Action,” a coalition of religious groups flooded the state capitol in Springfield, singing hymns, shouting “Hallelujah,” and praying for higher taxes on the rich. Their goal: replacing the state’s long-standing flat income tax with a new, progressive “Fair Tax.”

Snip

When asked whether additional tax revenue would really be used to help the poor, supporters like Rev. Hawking and Rev. Coulter tend to change the subject. When asked whether a progressive tax might backfire by driving wealth and jobs out of Illinois, both doubted anyone would leave. Besides, Rev. Hawking told me, “minimum wage earners,” not the wealthy, “are the real job creators.” The numbers, which show Illinois ranking second in the nation in outbound moves and losing more than $30 billion in adjusted gross income between 1992 and 2010, suggest otherwise.

Snip

“These are people who put their faith in government to do what communities and churches should be doing,” Mr. Greenberg said. “There’s just this strange faith in government in general—which, as the corrupt and incompetent government in Illinois clearly demonstrates, is a seriously flawed faith.” Brian Burch, the president of Catholic Vote, an Illinois advocacy group, put it another way: “They’re substituting the state for God.”

using votes from prior weeks’ voting sessions.

look for this sleaze tactic to be tried in voting for candidates.

she’s registered democrat but couldn’t get to the polls, she would’ve voted for the democrat, that’s one more for our side....

“What they did last week was under-handed and sneaky and offers further proof that they no longer can be trusted with taxpayer money,” said House Republican Leader Jim Durkin.

I hope he was suppressing a belly laugh when he said that. Because that is downright funny. I don’t care who you are.

I think it has been at least 150 years since an Illinois Democrat could be trusted with tax payer’s money.

Interesting way to govern. Could we maybe impeach El-Presidente, hold 3 votes in each house, throw out the no votes and total the yes votes to gain a conviction?

Ok, yes I know this was just IL, but I can dream can’t I? I still can, can’t I? Big Brother hasn’t made that illegal yet has he?

On the price tag though, how much does it cost to put up a stone wall? That is all you need to sum up his time in office.

Illinois Democrats are backing off an effort to give $100 million .... and nasty Chicago-style politics, not to mention the state’s dire financial situation.

Heck, they should look to spend that $100 million on more cops to stop the shootings in Chicago.

They ought to try to build Obama’s Library of Lies in Maryland. A solidly Democrat state, Maryland didn’t mind wasting $125 million dollars on failing to implement ObamaCare. I’m sure the state legislature won’t mind spending another $100 million plus to build a monument of lies for Obama in deepest, darkest Baltimore.

Four of Illinois' past seven governors have ended up in a federal Graybar Hotel....Rod Blagojevich (corruption), George Ryan (racketeering), Dan Walker (bank fraud) and Otto Kerner (bribery).

The upside is that at Illinois has always had good state's attorneys....and at least they indict, prosecute and imprison crooked governors. One reason is that there is quite a number of genuine watchdog and good-government groups around the state.....particularly in and around Chicago and Cook County.

All this is indicative of where and how community organizer Barack Obama learned his political trade, i.e., the ins-and-outs of hard-ball Democrat machine politics....except that his presidential corruption is smoother, more refined, more sophisticated, more hidden and more covered-up than that of the inept gubernatorial foursome that ended up in the slammer.

A Democrat-led House committee approved the money last week at an out-of-town hearing in Chicago with no Republicans in attendance. They instead relied on a procedural move that allowed them to use votes from a previous meeting.

Wow..no wonder Illinois politics are so screwed up...Vote from any location and use votes from another meeting...

Every single one of these dirt bags should be removed...
