Practice makes perfect.....post on....
I am sure that there are interesting women. But that doesn’t mean a man wants to spend an afternoon in a room full of them.
That video will always amuse!
Yep. I don’t know why people even bother making new music. ;-)
And for the record it wasn’t a couple shower.
A few of us men had lunch in the back (me and her fam) and then I was brought up to help with presents and what not.
One of the ladies at church was talking about an Easter Egg hunt that was held at one of the local schools in the area, and said that the prize in the eggs consisted of math problems rather than candy. One of the teachers or administrators apparently commented "we put math problems in the eggs instead of candy so we could have the Easter Egg hunt because that way it isn't religious."
Tiresome is the best word
For the constant iteration
Parroted by Obama’s minions
On every program and station
They want their candidates
To campaign with Obamacare
Up in front-the problem is
Too many will not go there
They know that bogus numbers
Of enrollees without the cash
Are only fit to run away from
And toss out with all the trash
I hiked upriver yesterday afternoon, looking for that park again-I found the way to drive to it, but I don’t see the point of the park if I can’t walk to it. There are lots of trails leading all over the place down there, but the ones leading to the neighborhood park are not marked.
Since there was no one else around, I wandered around in the woods till dinnertime, picking mint that escaped from cultivation and grows wild, and watching wildlife-I saw the flock of wild turkeys again, and a blue heron fishing in shallow water-but no park gate. The whole place was like the twilight zone with the cloudy, misty weather and just the noise of the water...
ah, what’s religious about candy in Easter eggs? what an idiot.
Yes, our ridicule alternated between what a LAME idea it was to put math problems in the eggs and the idiot that thought somehow it was the candy in the eggs that makes an Easter Egg hunt “religious”.
” sitting around with your friends, farting, scratching your privates and talking about HUNTING”
A good friend of mine calls that a “cock party-it is usually a small party, and doesn’t last very long”-the first time she said that, her husband and mine were at a regular monthly poker playing gathering, and I’ve never forgotten it.
I’d ask if you preferred that or the wings n beer with the men.
But you’re probably wise enough not to wade into this.
That is insane-not only is candy not “religious”, but I can’t seriously believe any kid would hunt for eggs they knew had math problems in them-it is like a mean joke on kids...
I saw a red-tailed hawk chase off a heron in flight on Saturday over one of the fields on my run. That was one territorial bird.
Chickfest at the Soothers! The Ultimate Hen Party!
They are that-especially at this time of year when they have babies still unfledged. The ones here nest in the tall trees, and are always on the hunt in the morning, hovering over the little clearings in the woods.
I once saw a red tailed hawk drop into a dive and grab a dove right out of the air-dove feathers exploded everywhere, and the hawk flew away with dinner. They are so graceful when they are just cruising, though...
I would have bet something Austrailian, but looking at the picture, I would have lost that bet...
unreal!
sounds like a lovely peaceful Easter afternoon.
